How it Works, Payment, and Accessibility
How does it work?
When my "books open" there will be a form available to fill out collecting info on what you'd like to get. If the design is approved I'll reach out with my calendar so you can choose an appointment.There is a non-refundable $100 deposit required to book an appointment and the deposit goes toward the cost of the tattoo. The deposit is due within 24 hours of us confirming the date/time. If you need extra time, please let me know or your appointment can be taken. With at least 48 hours notice you can reschedule your appointment without forfeiting the deposit.

What type of payment do you accept? Cash at the time of your appointment or Venmo to @LaurenLillianTattoos.

What is your hourly rate? My rate is $200/hour with a $200 minimum. Full Day (12:00 - 7:00) is $1,200. Half Day (3-4 hours) is $600-800. I can provide an estimate of how long the tattoo will take to complete, but that estimate is subject to change. Smaller tattoos or flash can be a flat rate price.

Scheduling, Availability, and Cancellations
What times are you available? Appointments are scheduled Monday through Friday, from 12:00pm to 8:00pm.

Do I need to bring my ID? Yes! Bring a valid license or passport to your appointment. We cannot tattoo you without proper identification.

What do I do when I arrive? Please arrive to your appointment on time.
​
Can I bring a friend? You must come alone to your appointment. No friends, family, or other guests are allowed in the shop until further notice. This includes our waiting area.

What if I have to cancel? With at least 48 hours notice you can reschedule your appointment without forfeiting the deposit. If you cannot reschedule, and must fully cancel your appointment, you forfeit your deposit.
Scars, Cover-ups, and Health Concerns
Do you do cover ups? Not usually. Sometimes I will do a cover up if it’s simple enough to cover with my style. Since I do more black work and stippling, it doesn’t lend well to cover other tattoos.

Do you do color? I like color projects once in a while. It’s fun to throw in some hints of color, so let's hear your idea!

Do you tattoo over scars and stretch marks? Yes! I’d love to do a photo, video, or in-person consultation first.

What should I wear to my appointment? Please wear comfortable and weather-appropriate clothing for where you’re getting the tattoo. It may get chilly in the studio.

Should I eat or drink beforehand? Please eat before your appointment! You may bring a snack and something to drink. If we're booked for a full day, feel free to bring lunch.

Antibiotics and blood thinners:
You CANNOT get tattooed while you're on antibiotics and for 10 days after because they're still in your system. You also can't get tattooed on blood thinners. Please let me know if either of these are an issue, we can reschedule you.
Aftercare
If I wrap your tattoo in plastic wrap:

• Take the plastic off 2-3 hours after the tattoo appointment.
• Make sure you have clean hands before touching an open wound.
• Clean your tattoo with unscented soap and water. Let air dry or use a clean towel/paper towel.
• Wash your tattoo well twice a day.
• Use a small amount of unscented lotion 1-3 times a day/as needed, until it’s healed. Recommended brands include, but are not limited to: Aquaphor, Aveeno, Curel, Lubriderm.
• Don't scratch! Don't Pick!

If I used Derm Shield/Saniderm on your tattoo:
• Leave the Derm shield on for 3-5 days, if there isn’t any breaks or leaks.
• If the Derm shield leaks or breaks open, take it off.
• After 3-5 days, take the Derm Shield off under running water/in the shower.
• Clean your tattoo with unscented soap and water. Let air dry or use a clean towel/paper towel.
• Wash your tattoo well twice a day.
• Use a small amount of unscented lotion 1-3 times a day/as needed, until it’s healed.
